Facilities - Marina Hotel Corfu

The complex offers a reception area in the Marina Hotel Corfu, manned by English speaking staff 24 hours a day, offering excellent first hand information on the hotel services, installations, the local area and they can also offer additional services such as excursion bookings, car rental and exchange facilities and the booking of taxis etc.

Both reception areas are tastefully decorated and offer telephone booths for making international calls, direct internet access (coin operated) for guests. International newspapers are also available on a daily basis. There are also a large amount of information books and literature available about the local area and about Majorca itself.

There is English speaking medical service available should any guests require medical assistance during their stay.

Vending machines are on hand in both reception area with selected products such as sun cream and toiletries etc.

What better way than to eat breakfast or dinner overlooking the beautiful Cala Egos cove, there are two air conditioned restaurants offering an international cuisine in a buffet style. With an excellent reputation for quality and service, beautifully presented food is proudly served by the Chefs and waiters in elegant and cool surroundings. Full English breakfast, salads, fruits, cheeses, mouth-watering desserts, national and popular international dishes, Gala Dinners and show cooking are just some of the high points and regular features that can be found in the restaurants. Vegetarians and special diets are welcomed and the chef and his kitchen staff will be delighted to help in anyway should they receive any special requests.

Drinks in each restaurant are available on a self service basis enabling you to enjoy a local glass of wine/lager or iced refreshments during your meal.

Even the smaller guests are catered for with their very own children's buffet offering a range of favourite dishes prepared especially for them. Don't be surprised to see Mickey Mouse or another favourite cartoon character helping themselves to a chip or two!

The beautifully landscaped pool areas have two freeform pools, both with separate areas for children. The pool directly adjacent to the Marina Hotel Corfu on the East side of the bay area is 15 metres in length with a children's pool which is 4 metres in length and shallow in depth. Whilst the pool area which sits between the two properties is 25 metres in length with a children's pool area of 6 metres, both are separated from the main area by a strong barrier to avoid children straying to the wrong part of the pool.


There are ample sun beds and umbrellas available and a life guard is on duty daily to ensure the well being and safety of guests.
The central pool area hosts a decent sized bar, where you can enjoy a range of popular snacks, drinks and ice creams. This opens at 10.00am until 6.00pm. 

With tables and umbrellas pool side you can see still the fun going on whilst enjoying that tasty midmorning or afternoon snack.

The terrace of the central pool area is south facing and benefits from maximum sunshine throughout the day. If you are in the mood for exercise you can stretch your legs and take a short stroll to the secluded sandy beach that is situated less than 10metres from the main steps to the complex, children will have immense fun building sand castles in this lovely and safe cove. You may just want to top up your tan followed by a refreshing dip in the sea. There are sun beds and sun shades available (local charge) and the Starfish glass bottom boat comes right into the cove on a daily basis to pick up guests waiting on the cliff top to go and explore the high seas and have fun. Tickets can be bought in reception.

There are quite a few different types of boat trips available from the Marina in Cala d'Or that sail off to the local beaches or to various destinations on the East coast, Dolphin Catamarans and Sea Rider speed boat trips are just some of the type of boat excursions available. Cruise through the glorious creeks, crystal clear blue bays and little coves of this enchanting part of the Mediterranean.

Light and spacious lounges are available in both properties for a refreshing pre dinner drink with views overlooking the pool and bay areas. The Marina Hotel Corfu  also has an outdoor terrace perfect for that early evening drink with comfortable sofas and chairs shaded by umbrellas from the early evening sunshine. International brands are available (local charge) should you wish to choose certain selected refreshments from the drinks and light snack menus.
