The facilities and installations at the Hotel Rey Don Jaime are one of the major key points to the hotel.
A delightful uncluttered sunbathing area complete with sun beds and parasols, adult lagoon-style swimming pool and a separate pool for children is no doubt one of the main reasons that guests spend most of their day at the hotel. There is also a small sun terrace available for any guests who would prefer a little bit of privacy!
For anybody wishing to take a break from the sun there is also a relaxing heated indoor swimming pool with sun beds, toilet and showering facilities.
Entertainment is an important part of any holiday and with a friendly and fun in-house animation team providing daily and evening entertainment, boredom is not an option!
Weather permitting all evening entertainment is based outside in the show area if not then the hotel boasts a large lounge bar complete with a small stage so that the show goes on. The lounge is also a great place to spend time over pre dinner aperitifs or an after dinner brandy or two and stays open until midnight, as with all public areas the lounge area has been completely refurbished with the emphasis on space and relaxation.
The well equipped pool side bar serves snacks and is open from late morning until 6.00pm.
The main restaurant is probably one of the finest in its class for ambience and the levels of quality.
There are wide screen televisions for any major sports or events that are taking place and background music normally accompanies most parts of the hotel adding to the atmosphere.
In addition the hotel offers an English style Pub which is open from May until October from 6.00pm until late, or more often than not, very late, usually past 2.00am. There is alternative entertainment on in the evenings and really feels like a home from home.
There are pool tables for all sporty guests and also should anyone need to connect up, then there are internet (coin operated) booths available in the reception area.
If you need to do any washing then the hotel offers a laundry service, clothes can be sent to reception to be washed and returned to your room. An iron & ironing board can also be requested from reception.
Vending machines offering refreshments, snacks and a small range of toiletries and general goods are situated just by the main restaurant.
There are two private phone booths in the reception area suitable for all guests including wheelchair users.
If you fancy a good read by the pool, then pop down to the book swap table in reception. It is a great way of recycling!
Reception is manned 24 hours by English speaking staff and can offer various services including; car hire, excursion information and money exchange.
An English speaking medical service is also available should you require any medical assistance during your stay. Please remember that you should always bring travel insurance with you.
